Resumen:

Controlled PWM rectifiers are power electronic devices designed to diminish the harmonic pollution of electrical networks and intended as an answer to the power quality standards. Conventional proportional-integral controllers constitute a very useful technique to control these devices, however they do not exhibit high performance. Repetitive and resonant control have proven to be effective in this application under constant network frequency, but their performance decreases considerably under varying frequency conditions. In this work, we propose a varying frequency resonant control strategy that uses the measure of the network frequency for the on-line tuning of the control system resonant components. Stability analysis is carried out based on the LMI gridding approach and the experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
